|Dr. Norihiko Yamano received his PhD in a December convocation at the University of Illinois. He is standing with a very proud advisor, Geoffrey Hewings. Nori was the first part-time PhD in REAL and the journey took almost 10 years while Nori maintained his position in the OECD in Paris. Thanks to the support of his family and the colleagues in OECD for the encouragement that he received and congratulations to Nori on this wonderful achievement!
|The Second Annual China REAL Meeting was hosted by Drs. Wang Hua and Lan Fei at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, in Wuhan, China. Many of the attendees are shown in this picture. We enjoyed a day and a half of papers presented by REAL alumni (and soon-to-be REAL alumni), wonderful lunches and a great dinner. Thanks to our gracious hosts! Next year, we hope to be in Tianjin at Nankai University.
